I don’t know if I want to raise my arms and cheer or grab a tissue and sob. The school season has just began and I have sent two of my kids off with their backpacks and lunches. One of them was my wee little one who is only 4 years old. That was heart wrenching. First day of Pre-K. Oh come on now, I’m such a fool. It’s only school. But wait, what is that I hear? Silence? Only the sound of my little 1 year old’s pitter pattering feet as he runs by me to snag up another toy of his big brothers without the threat of getting body slammed. Well now, I’m thinking that I am really going to like this school thing.

Usually, a typical day for this stay at home mom includes running around and pulling my hair out chasing after my two little ones, but now it’s only one little one who seems content on sneaking off with as many toys as he can before his big brother comes home. Maybe now I can actually get some work done on my computer since I have until 2 PM before I have to pick the kids up from school. I feel better now as I toss my tissue in the rubbish and yes, I even toss my arms in the air and cheer! Silence! Got to love it.
